Welcome to

Heritage Association

A resident-owned community

Welcome Home!

Heritage Association, Inc. is comprised of two resident-owned manufactured home communities in Warren, Mass. Heritage Village, an all-age community, and Hillside Estates, for people over the age of 55, are the rural, well-maintained, friendly neighborhoods of Heritage Association. Conveniently located just 25 minutes from I-90 for easy access to the surrounding area, Heritage is 45 minutes from Springfield and Worcester.

Members frequently visit Lake Wickaboag, just a quick 15-minute drive away, where we enjoy the public beach, boating in the summer, and ice fishing in the winter. We are located three miles from downtown Warren and Lucy Stone Park, known for picnics, leisurely walks, and fishing in the Quaboag River.

We are a caring community, and we would be happy to introduce you to our neighbors. Heritage Association is owned by the community members who live here – we are a resident-owned community (ROC).

We own it

That means we control the rent and make the rules. On April 12, 2018, the community members purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected Board of Directors manages the business of running Heritage. Every Member household in the community has a say in who sits on the Board, how we spend our money, like building the annual budget or making changes to the rent.

We’re also part of a national network of more than 200 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training, communication with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do, and more. Life in Heritage Association is truly different than in a commercially owned community – we invite you to find out firsthand how that difference makes living here so much better.
